Terms and Conditions
1. Estimates

All estimates are valid for a limited time (e.g., 30 days).

Prices are based on the information available at the time of the estimate.

Additional work requires customer approval.
2. Scope of Work

Only work specifically listed in the accepted estimate or contract is included.

Changes requested during the project may result in additional charges.
3. Hidden Conditions

Hidden damage or unforeseen conditions (dry rot, mold, plumbing, electrical, structural issues, etc.) are not included unless specifically stated.

Any additional work will be discussed and approved before proceeding.
4. Customer-Provided Materials

Handyman State is not responsible for manufacturer defects, shortages, delays, or warranty coverage on customer-supplied materials.

Additional labor resulting from defective or incorrect materials may be billed separately.
5. Scheduling

Project dates are estimates and may change due to weather, material availability, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond your control.
6. Payments

Deposits may be required.

Payment is due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Late payments may be subject to applicable fees or interest as allowed by law.
7. Warranties

Labor is warranted for a stated period (for example, one year) against defects in workmanship.

Manufacturer warranties apply only to the products installed.

Damage caused by normal wear, abuse, accidents, weather, movement of the structure, or lack of maintenance is excluded.
8. Permits

Permits are obtained only when specifically included in the contract.

Customer is responsible for HOA approvals unless otherwise agreed.
9. Limitation of Liability

Liability is limited to the amount paid for the services performed, to the extent permitted by law.

Handyman State is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.
10. Website Disclaimer

Information on the website is provided for general informational purposes only.

Pricing examples are estimates and not binding offers.
11. Photos
-
Unless otherwise agreed, Handyman State may photograph completed work for its portfolio and marketing without identifying the homeowner or disclosing the property address.
12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.
